MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I'm Meg and thank you for your interest in Fit Squad Personal Training!

I'm a Level 3 Personal Trainer, as well as an LDNM accredited Nutrition Coach.  I firmly believe that targeted fitness PLUS better nutrition habits reap the best, most sustainable results.

My specialism is in body composition.  So whether you're looking to fill out a t-shirt, or cut body fat and get trim for a special occasion - I'm your guy.  Of course, if you're looking to get simply get active and make better choices in a fun way, I can help with that too!

I offer a range of services and use a variety of modern methods backed up with awesome support to get you to where you want to be.  More info on that throughout this page.

Daniel (or 'Kirby' as everyone knows him!) was a unique client.  A hugely successful DJ (often working internationally), Kirby was in big demand and therefore had a mad schedule!  In the context of what he wanted to achieve, this presented a challenge that we worked to overcome.

I work a bit differently to most - offering a range of  'bolt-ons' to help you get the most from your programme.  I also purposefully work with fewer clients in order to safeguard quality and service. 

 

I'm happy (and prefer) to work within budgets and timescales based on individual circumstance - which is why I offer block discounts.

Flora and I started working together last year.  Her initial aims were to develop a solid, healthy routine and to improve her mindset around food.  Flora is vegan and was extremely dedicated to trying new ideas and improving her food choices the more we worked together.  We incorporated a mindful break for her holiday to visit family in the summer - albeit with some cheeky holiday workouts thrown in from me!  An absolute star client!

I specialise in working with two types of PT client: those looking to achieve responsible fat loss, or those looking for lean muscle gain.

FAT LOSs

Fat or weight loss is often an incredibly personal journey. 

 

By targeting training into two areas (cardiovascular and resistance), coupled with a keen focus on nutrition, I've been able to help people achieve results in a responsible and sustainable way.

I'd highly recommend the 'Nutrition Bolt-On' to compliment a PT programme, in order to get the most out of your 1 to 1 coaching.

MUSCLE GAIN 

Lean muscle gain is a gradual process - but very rewarding.

A plan is a must - in order to manage training cycles so you are increasing volume and intensity correctly and safely over time. I have direct experience of this with my own training and have coached others to PB's in this area.

I would definitely recommend the 'All Inclusive Bolt-On' to accompany any muscle gain programme - ensuring a personalised fitness and nutrition plan is in place, utilising the best protocols applicable to you as an individual.

BOLT-ONS

You have the option to 'bolt-on' some fantastic extras, to greatly enhance the support, direction and accountability along your journey.

Instead of diving head-first into PT sessions, we spend a bit of time fact-finding.  This ensures we approach your fitness from a hugely informed base - setting you up for true success.

We'll discuss your hopes and goals, and how to fit this into your lifestyle.  We'll also run through some basic tests, from which I'll pop you a free, detailed Fitness Report.

I'm so pleased to be able to offer reduced price Personal Training to students who share the same goals and are happy to train together in pairs.

As Solent University alumni, I know how hard it can be to fit fitness into your week - with deadlines and hectic social diaries.

By training in pairs, you'll not only spread the cost, but increase the fun and motivate each other!

I'll do my bit by providing a free shuttle service from locations in Bedford Place, Highfield and Portswood.
